Would you like to know your sperm quality?

If you are unsure about the quality of your sperm, you can test it with us. There are many reasons, why a man would like to know the quality of his sperm; some consider having children, others have problems getting their partner pregnant, and some just want to know their sperm quality.

How it works
At European Sperm Bank you can get a sperm count analysis for only DKK 500,-. All you do is book an appointment by e-mail donor@europeanspermbank.com or call us at +45 88 77 17 57. You can make your sperm sample for the analysis at our clinics in Aarhus, Lyngby or Copenhagen. You can find us here.

At the time of your appointment, you simply shop up at the clinic and identify yourself at the reception (please bring ID). You will then receive a cup and be shown to a room, where you make the sample. When you’re done, simply leave the sample at the reception desk.

Fast result
You are welcome to write or call us, if you have any questions about the result of the sperm count analysis. You get the result of your sperm count analysis by email the following working day.

Should your sperm count be below the WHO standards for normal sperm count, we recommend that you see your doctor for further investigation. Decreased sperm count can be caused by many factors, including general illness with fever. Learn more about what can cause low sperm count.

Price and payment
The sperm count analysis only costs DKK 500, – Incl. 25% VAT. You can pay cash directly at the reception, by bank transfer or by invoice.

How to make the best sperm sample
To get the best quality for a semen analysis, we recommend not to ejaculate 48 hours before making the sperm sample, but no longer than 72 hours. In order to make the best possible sperm sample, there are several things to be aware of, which are essential for the quality. The most important is the time without ejaculation (also called abstinence), because it affects sperm quality and results.

Also remember to get all the sperm in the cup, as every drop – especially the first few – contain many sperm cells.
